New snow - Christmas Eve

Finally, we got fresh snow in time for Christmas tomorrow. It doesn't look like much, but it's more than we had on the ground. It has helped "spruce" everything up.

We have had quite the bird populations visit our deck to eat the sunflower seeds. This is the first year that we have had pine grosbeaks and the common redpolls are back after an absence. I have not seen the red breasted nuthatches lately. The chickadees are not sure what to do, they will not come on the deck while the grosbeaks are feeding. Interesting dynamics... The cat has been mesmerized, no need to entertain her these days!
