Official October Snow of 2008

We did have some snow that fell but did not stick last weekend while Mindi and Scott were here... this weekend we are experiencing the tail end of a typhoon that swept through Taiwan and Japan, it hit the higher elevation neighborhoods of Anchorage pretty hard with very high winds on Friday. They are calling for a couple inches of snow accumulation tonight and tomorrow. This picture was taken at about 10 AM.
