We usually carve a pumpkin, put up orange lights around the front door, hang up other cutesy tchotchkes, but alas this year was a bust on the preparation front. Also, we put the old sad frozen pumpkins out for the moose... maybe that was why one was tripping the garage light last night, hmm! The most we've gotten out of the experience was the cute "thank you"s, costumes, leftover candy (which will be donated to the office candy pool), and this one photo! Well, next year could be different...
