Finally the delphiniums have started to bloom.

Greg took this picture and the one below today, 7/25, you probably won't believe me because there is no one to compare the height to, but the delphinium are now 7 feet tall and growing!
Surprised by the size of my delphiniums, it's not unusual in this part of the world... Some of you may know that just over the way in Palmer, AK farmers grow world record giant veggies and such. They get judged every year at the AK State Fair in Palmer on and around Labor Day Weekend. Here's a picture to prove it... Greg standing next to what he likes to refer to as a "volkswagen" sized pumpkin.
