For us the only reason to go to the State Fair is to gawk at the huge veggies! It's not the horribly unhealthy fair food, that smells so good I might add. It's not the rides, it's not the vendors, they don't seem to have anything we want or need. It's the giant veggies! So, we had to go and take pictures and admire them.
We had a cool and wet summer, so the winning pumpkin was "only" 907 lbs!
We think this view of the pumpkin makes it look bigger somehow...
This was the 2nd place pumpkin at 328 lbs.

We officially love mushrooms, I couldn't help taking a picture of the winning cultivation, pretty cool, huh?
